Custodial Emergency Lighting

Project Brief

To design emergency fire lighting for custodial settings. The lighting must be anti-ligature, tamperproof, and IP65.

Project Outcome

This is the DP-E44, an anti-ligature, tamperproof, and IP65 non-maintained emergency light. The design consists of an existing off the shelf circuit board and directional lighting lens that is enclosed in a CNC machined aluminium housing. The domed IK 16 clear cover is a CNC machined acrylic that is polished to be clear.
