Automated Filling

This is an automated filling device used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industry. It dispenses a select amount of product into the containers that are presented to it by the user.

After use, the product has to disassembled for cleaning, and reasembled for use. Using Blender 3D, I created animations for users to follow along with.

A client required their product to be heated at every stage of the filling process. I developed a heating system that heated the hopper, piston, and transfer area to a constant 80 degrees. This allowed product to be pumped without it hardening.

Below shows another project where the client wanted a specialised connection between their product container and the automated filling device. I designed a food safe connection to do so.
